RETURN POLICY

This Policy applies to all purchases made through Fatcats, a brand operated and managed by Varthaali.

This policy takes effect on the date it is published on the Fatcats app.

Varthaali (Operating Brand: Fatcats)

At Fatcats, a brand operated by Varthaali ("Varthaali", "Fatcats", "we", "our", or "us"), we are committed to providing a reliable and satisfactory shopping experience.

The Fatcats platform operates both as:

• An e-commerce marketplace connecting buyers with independent third-party sellers; and

• A retail seller for selected products directly sold by Varthaali.

This Return Policy applies to purchases made through the Fatcats website, mobile application, and related services.

  1. Eligibility for Returns

Products may be eligible for return only under the following circumstances:

• The product is damaged during delivery.

• The product is defective or not functioning as intended.

• The wrong product was delivered.

• The product received is materially different from the product description displayed on the platform.

To qualify for a return:

• The product must be unused and in substantially the same condition as received.

• Original packaging, labels, manuals, accessories, warranty cards, and promotional items must be included.

• A valid invoice, order confirmation, or proof of purchase must be provided.

The following products are generally not eligible for return unless required by law:

• Perishable goods

• Personal care products

• Intimate wear and hygiene products

• Customized or made-to-order products

• Digital products or downloadable content

• Gift cards and vouchers

• Products specifically marked as "Non-Returnable"

Special Promotional Products:

Products sold under "Deal of the Day", flash sales, clearance sales, or similar promotional campaigns may be marked as non-returnable and non-refundable. However, returns will be accepted if the product is damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered.

  1. Return Request Timeline

Customers must submit a return request within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery.

Requests submitted after this period may not be accepted unless required under applicable consumer protection laws.

  1. Return Process

To initiate a return:

• Submit a return request through the Fatcats website, mobile application, or customer support channel.

• Provide order details and supporting photographs or videos showing the issue.

• Additional information may be requested to verify eligibility.

Upon approval:

• Pickup may be arranged by Varthaali, the seller, or an authorized logistics partner where available.

• In certain locations, customers may be required to self-ship the product to the designated return address.

For products sold directly by Varthaali, verification will be conducted by our team.

For products sold by independent marketplace sellers, verification may be conducted by the respective seller in accordance with platform policies and applicable laws.

  1. Refunds

Refunds will be initiated only after the returned product has been received and successfully verified.

Approved refunds will be processed:

• To the original payment method; or

• As Fatcats Wallet Credits, where such option is available and selected by the customer.

Refund initiation typically occurs within seven (7) business days after successful verification. Actual credit timelines depend upon banks, payment gateways, UPI providers, card issuers, and financial institutions.

Unless the return results from an error by Varthaali or the seller, shipping, handling, convenience, and payment processing fees may not be refundable.

  1. Cashback and Promotional Benefits

Any cashback, rewards, loyalty points, promotional credits, wallet credits, referral rewards, or similar benefits associated with a returned, cancelled, refunded, or disputed order may be reversed, adjusted, cancelled, or recovered by Varthaali.

  1. Seller and Varthaali Responsibilities

For products sold by independent marketplace sellers:

• The seller remains responsible for product quality, warranties, authenticity, statutory compliance, and return obligations as required by law.

• Varthaali acts primarily as a technology platform facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers.

For products sold directly by Varthaali:

• Varthaali shall be responsible for processing eligible returns, replacements, and refunds in accordance with this policy.

  1. Fraud Prevention

Varthaali reserves the right to reject, suspend, investigate, or deny return requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, misleading, repetitive, or otherwise in violation of platform policies or applicable laws.

False claims may result in account suspension, cancellation of benefits, denial of future returns, legal action, or other remedies available under law.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Except where required by applicable law, Varthaali shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from return requests, delayed refunds, shipping delays, or seller-related disputes.

Fatcats is a customer-facing brand operated by Varthaali. We do not charge any joining fee, registration fee, or compensation solely for user enrollment. Cashback, rewards, and promotional benefits are linked only to genuine product purchases and are subject to verification, applicable taxes, platform policies, and legal requirements.
