Varthaali (Operating Brand: Fatcats) Refund Policy
Business identity:
Fatcats is a brand operated by Varthaali. References to
"Fatcats", "we", "our", or "us" in this
Policy shall mean Varthaali and its authorized representatives. Certain
products may be sold directly by Varthaali, while other products may be sold by
independent third-party sellers through the platform.
Effective Date:
This Policy applies to all purchases made through Fatcats, a
brand operated and managed by Varthaali.
This policy takes effect on the date it is published on the
Fatcats app.
1. Promoter Terms & Responsibilities
- Any
customer may become a voluntary promoter by sharing Fatcats products or
offers with others.
- Promoters
are not employees, agents, or partners of Fatcats.
- No
joining fee, subscription, or investment is required to become a
promoter.
- Cashback
is earned only on verified product purchases made by referred
users.
- No
reward is given for referring inactive users or users who do not make
purchases.
- Earnings
vary based on product category and promotional structures and are not
guaranteed.
- Promoters
must not misrepresent income potential or misuse referral tools.
- Fatcats
reserves the right to terminate promoter privileges in case of fraud,
misrepresentation, or violation of platform rules.
2. Market Place Vs Direct Sales:
Nature of Transactions
Products displayed on Fatcats may be:
- Sold
directly by Varthaali (Seller of Record); or
- Sold
by independent third-party sellers using the platform.
Refund, replacement, return, and warranty eligibility may
vary depending on the seller and product category. Product-specific conditions
displayed at checkout shall prevail.
3. Cashback Withdrawal Policy for Minors
- Users
under 18 may sign up and make purchases with parental consent.
- Withdrawal
of cashback is strictly limited until the user:
- Turns
18 years old, and
- Submits
a valid PAN card linked to their account.
- Until
eligibility is met, cashback earnings will be held securely in the user’s
account.
- All
cashback is subject to TDS as per applicable laws.
4. How Cashback Works
1. Cashback is earned only on verified
purchases of products listed on the Fatcats app.
2.Additional cashback may be credited from system-assigned
or directly referred customers’ purchases.
3. No cashback is granted for referrals alone or
signups without actual purchases.
4. Cashback amounts vary by product, category, and
structure. They are not fixed or guaranteed.
5. Customers must declare cashback as income, where
required.
6. Full cashback history, withdrawals, and TDS
deductions are available under the Wallet section of the app.
7. Any cashback, reward, loyalty benefit, promotional
credit, wallet credit, or incentive issued on a refunded or cancelled order may
be reversed, adjusted, withheld, or recovered by Varthaali (Fatcats).
Disclaimer: Fatcats does not operate an MLM, pyramid,
or money circulation scheme. Rewards are given solely for promoting products
and resulting purchases—not for sign-ups or recruitment. All activity is
governed by Indian e-commerce and tax laws.
5. Further Legal & Transaction Terms
- All
transactions, pricing, deliveries, and warranties are direct
contractual obligations between Buyer and Seller. Fatcats provides only
the payment gateway and communication platform and is not
liable for delivery failures, product issues, damages, or service
delays.
- Payment
facility is a technological service, not a financial product. Fatcats
is a neutral facilitator using authorized gateways and infrastructure.
- Buyers
agree to pay the transaction price via their bank or payment gateway.
Refunds will follow Indian Rupees only.
Fraud Prevention:
Varthaali reserves the right to refuse, suspend,
investigate, or reject refund, replacement, return, or cancellation requests
suspected of fraud, abuse, policy misuse, excessive returns, chargeback
manipulation, false claims, or unlawful activity.
5. Buyer Eligibility & Protection Program
- Only
Buyers who have purchased the product on Fatcats are eligible.
- Buyers
can file disputes within 45 days from the date of delivery.
- Damage
or loss after delivery is the Buyer's responsibility.
- Buyers
must attempt to resolve issues with Sellers first before raising a
dispute.
- Maximum
5 claims per Buyer per year; coverage limited to ₹50,000 per
year.
- Fraudulent
claims, chargebacks, blacklisted/blocked users, or buyer remorse
are not covered.
- Fatcats
may suspend, block, or disqualify users who file false or
misleading claims.
- Decisions
made under Buyer Protection: Varthaali's decision under the Buyer
Protection Program shall be based on available evidence, platform records,
logistics information, and applicable policies and shall be considered
final for platform resolution purposes.
Disputes via Chargeback CB types include: Item not
received, Unauthorized CB, Item not as described.
- Seller
is responsible for issuing correct invoices stating "Powered by
Fatcats".
6. Refund, Exchange, and Cancellation Policy
Eligibility for Refunds:
- Item
returned within 3 days of delivery.
- Item
must be unused, unworn, in original condition, with packaging and
accessories.
- Proof
of purchase required.
- Certain
products (perishable, personal care, custom-made, digital)
are non-returnable.
Refund Process:
1.Initiate
Request: Email admin@fatcats.store or use Contact Us page.
2. Return Item: Follow instructions; Buyer may
bear return shipping unless Fatcats/Seller error.
3. Refund Approval: Inspection confirms
eligibility.
4. Refund Issuance: Approved refunds are initiated
within 7 business days. Actual credit timelines depend on banks, card issuers,
UPI providers, payment gateways, and financial institutions and may take
additional time.
Non Refundable Charges:
The following may not be refundable unless required by law:
- Shipping
charges
- Convenience
fees
- Platform
service fees
- Payment
gateway charges
- Gift
wrapping charges
- Promotional
benefits already utilized
Exchange Policy:
Only defective, damaged, or wrong items are eligible.
Cancellation Policy:
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order has
been packed, shipped, handed over to a logistics partner, or processed for
fulfillment, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Shipping Damage Policy:
Buyers should inspect packages upon delivery. Visible
damage, tampering, missing contents, or delivery discrepancies should be
reported within 48 hours of delivery along with supporting photographs or
videos.
Force Majeure Protection Policy:
Varthaali shall not be responsible for delays,
cancellations, refund delays, delivery failures, or service interruptions
caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters,
strikes, government actions, network failures, logistics disruptions,
epidemics, pandemics, war, civil disturbances, or force majeure events.
Products not eligible:
Misuse, accidental damage, used consumables, missing
packaging/accessories, custom-made items, non-warranty defects.
Digital Products:
Digital products, downloadable content, subscriptions,
memberships, gift cards, recharge services, bookings, tickets, and
electronically delivered services are generally non-refundable unless required
by law or explicitly stated otherwise.
Seller Liability:
For products sold by independent sellers, the seller remains
primarily responsible for product quality, warranty obligations, statutory
compliance, product authenticity, and applicable after-sales support.

Property & Infringement All content on the Website belongs to Fatcats or
respective IP owners. Sellers must have authorization to upload content.
Users/Buyers/Sellers must not infringe IP rights. Infringement complaints
follow Fatcats Infringement Verification Process (FIVP). Notices must include
trademark/copyright ownership proof.
7. 30-Day Replacement Guarantee
- Buyers
may request replacement for defective or damaged products within 30 days.
- Only
defective, damaged, or wrong items are eligible.
- Replacement
is subject to stock availability.
